- I thirst for science, always. A nerd? I guess I am, but the funky one, “the funky nerd”, that’s what my friends used to call me, and I’m pretty proud of it. Marine biology is my background, but now I’m dealing with petrochemicals. Ok, to tell you more about my interests, borrowing a part of the lyric from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s famous song, “these are a few of my favorite things”: playing piano, ocarina, tin whistle, Chinese flute, solo, duet, ensemble, acoustics, big band, learning other musical instruments, arranging music... ok enough about music!!! swimming, diving, salsa and merengue, traveling, backpacking, jogging, tennis, food tasting and safari, cooking, UNO cards, behavioral pattern, people’s principle, human relations, competition, public performance, shaking the stage, tidiness, cleanliness, traditional healing, yoga, tai chi, health, life, and of course, nature.
